As we approach the spring of 2021 amidst the challenges of a global pandemic, we want to thank our members for observing safe social distancing and for your continued support, which makes our mission to preserve and protect green spaces possible. Land trusts like ours perform valuable services to their local communities. They provide access to nature experiences for local residents of all income levels, conserve vital watershed areas and the many plant and animal species that live there, and create educational and outreach programs.
The Deep River Land Trust has been preserving and protecting green spaces for current and future generations since 1975, with the generous support of our members and donors. Your membership will continue that important mission. The Deep River Land Trust is a volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Deep River is home to a rare freshwater tidal marsh, woodlands, important watershed for the lower Connecticut River, and beautiful green spaces that provide outdoor opportunities for hikers, birders, and nature enthusiasts.
